INDIE Live Expo 2022 Premieres, Guests, Special Segments Revealed

INDIE Live Expo 2022 announces INDIE Live Premieres, guest appearances, and special segments for the latest entry in the biannual digital showcase series connecting indie game fans worldwide. Viewers can watch the two-day event on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Bilibili in English, Japanese, and Chinese.


INDIE Live Premiere will feature multiple announcements for upcoming titles, with numerous surprises and updates for previously-revealed games. The show will feature new info about Palworld, the multiplayer, open-world survival crafting from developers Pocketpair Inc., which had a world premiere at INDIE Live Expo 2021. Viewers can also expect an update on OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, based on the anime series OVERLORD developed by Engines Inc and published by Kadokawa Games.


ILE 2022 will feature special segments presented by a variety of indie game supporters from around the world. These supporters include PlayStation; publishers PLAYISM, Freedom Games, and Shueisha Games; Japanese Vtuber platform #fingger; and digital content store DLsite. Additionally, an INDIE Live Expo sale is now live on the Microsoft Store on Xbox until May 24th, and a Steam event with discounts will go live shortly before DAY 1 until May 28th. Both stores will feature games set to appear in this year’s show along with alumni of previous events and many more.

Various special guests, including some surprises during ILE, will appear throughout the two-day event, with DAY 1: Let’s Play highlighting currently available and Early Access titles and DAY 2: Premiere focusing on unreleased games. Dainashi, one of Japan’s most popular cover artists of video game music, returns for INDIE Live Expo 2022 for a new performance of indie game music.
